King Tilda in paper piecing - DT card for Marvelous Magnolia

Ciao a tutti cari amici blogger,
questo giovedì continua la sfida al Marvelous Magnolia, il tema è ... "Anything goes", eh!! niente di più facile! :)
Per la mia card ho deciso di interrompere le celebrazioni natalizie e sono andata avanti fino ad arrivare a Capodanno... sono arrivata prima? :D
Ho scelto una Tilda  che si chiama "King Tilda" da una collezione del 2011, mi piace tantissimo questa immagine con la sua grande corona e il suo passo saltellante, e per la prima volta ho provata la divertente tecnica del Paper Piecing. Invece della usuale colorazione ho usato la stessa carta decorata della card per il vestito e le scarpe di Tilda. Ho visto questa tecnica nella blogsfera ed ero curiosa di sperimentarla... spero vi piaccia!! :)

this Thursday  the challenge at Marvelous Magnolia continues, the theme is ... "Anything goes", eh!! nothing simplier! :)
For my card I decided to have a rest from Christmas celebrations, and going on I arrived to the New Year's Day... am I arrived first? :D
I chose a Tilda  from a 2011 collection called "King Tilda", I love so much this image for her big crown and her hop walk, and tried for the first time the funny Paper Piecing tecnique. Instead of usual colouring I used the same patterned paper of the card for Tilda's outfit and shoes. I  saw this tecnique in the blogland and was curios to experiment it... hope you like it!! :)

Il timbro Magnolia usato è "King Tilda", le carte sono di Maya Design dall'ultima collezione "Vintage Autumn Basics", i dies sono: Magnolia Doohickeys “Event Flags”,  Cheery Lynn Nesting Dies “Oval" L-12 and XL-12, , Tim Holtz Stars border and "Ornate Frame".

... i ciondoli che ho scelto sono simboli benauguranti di amore e fortuna, avrei voluto aggiungere la salute ma non ho trovato niente di adatto.
... the charms I chose are the "good wish"simbols of love and fortune, I would have add health but I haven't found nothing suitable.
